How it works: pick an answer for each question to see if you are right and why. Your score appears at the end. The real FAA test has 60 questions and you need 70% to pass, so aim for at least 80% here before booking.
What the real Part 107 test covers
- Regulations: altitude and speed limits, visual line of sight, flying over people and at night, accident reporting and registration.
- Airspace and sectional charts: airspace classes, when you need authorization, and reading chart symbols. Most people find this the hardest section.
- Weather: reading METARs and TAFs, and how wind, temperature and density altitude affect a drone.
- Loading and performance: weight, balance and load factor.
- Operations: airport traffic patterns, radio procedures, emergency procedures, and the effects of drugs, alcohol and fatigue.
