Skydive Toronto (Cookstown): the highest jump
About an hour north of the city near Lake Simcoe, Skydive Toronto offers the widest choice of altitudes, topping out at 15,250 ft for roughly a minute of freefall, the most of the three. It’s also the easiest option for 16- and 17-year-olds, who can jump tandem with a parent present. The drop zone says it’s reachable by GO Transit, which helps if you don’t drive.
Three altitude options up to 15,250 ft, and tandem jumps from age 16 with a parent on site.
Skydive SWOOP (Dundas): the closest to the GTA
Near Hamilton and about an hour from downtown, SWOOP is the most convenient choice for the western GTA. Its jumps are lower (8,000 or 11,000 ft), so freefall is shorter, but prices are competitive. You must be 18 with government photo ID, and the season runs roughly from late April to late October.
About an hour from downtown Toronto, near Hamilton. A good pick for the western GTA.
Skydive Burnaby (Wainfleet): Niagara views
On the Niagara peninsula, Skydive Burnaby is the furthest of the three from Toronto but pairs nicely with a Niagara trip. Weekday jumps go up to 10,500 ft; weekend jumps go up to 14,000 ft for close to a minute of freefall. Its weight limits are the strictest of the three, so check before booking.
Combine your jump with a Niagara getaway. Book a weekend slot for the 14,000 ft altitude.

When to go
Ontario’s skydiving season runs roughly from late April or May to October, weather permitting. Summer weekends book up fast. Morning slots are the most reliable, because afternoon wind and storms cause delays, and plan to spend half a day at the drop zone.
